Ducati Panigale V2

Price: € 18,790 | Power:  155 CV | Displacement:  959 cc | License:  A

Ducati renamed its 959 to adopt from 2020 the initials Panigale V2 in reference to its 955 cm³ Superquadro twin engine that delivers a maximum power of 155 hp at 10,750 rpm and a torque of 104 Nm at 9,000 rpm.

The new, smaller silencer makes this model comply with the Euro 5 emissions directive. It also comes equipped with a six-speed gearbox with the Ducati Quick Shift up / down EVO 2 system and an anti-rebound clutch.

To control all this power and increase safety, Ducati has equipped this model with a complete electronic system consisting of a 6-axis inertial platform, Ducati Traction Control EVO 2, Ducati Wheelie Control EVO and Engine Brake Control EVO. It also has three driving modes (Race, Sport, Street), which are configurable by the pilot.

This new sports bike from Ducati refers to the legendary Italian brand Superbike with a single-sided aluminum swingarm that reinforces its character and reveals the black 5-spoke rear rim inspired by those used on the V4.

Regarding the suspensions, the Panigale V2 mounts a fully adjustable 43 mm Showa BPF fork at the front, while at the rear it mounts a fully adjustable monoshock signed by Sachs.

In the braking section, the Panigale V2 equips two 320 mm discs with Brembo M4.32 monobloc calipers with radial pump, while at the rear it mounts a 245 mm disc bitten by Brembo calipers. A set that works with the ABS Cornering EVO that it incorporates as standard.

At the design level, the new Ducati Panigale V2 follows the sharp lines of its sister V4 and where the front headlight made up of two small LED modules and DRL daytime running lights stands out on the front. Both the taillight and the indicators also have Full-LED technology.

The instrumentation is provided by a 4.3-inch TFT screen that modifies the information according to the selected driving mode. This model has a fuel tank capacity of 17 liters, which ensures proper autonomy.

It comes equipped as standard with Pirelli Diablo Rosso Corsa II tires measuring 120/70 ZR17 at the front and 180/60 x ZR17 at the rear.
